March 25, 2025 - Presidential Preference Primary Election Canvass, 8:30 AM County Commission Meeting Room, 2nd Florr Courthouse, Alma
August 6, 2024 - Primary Election
November 5, 2024 - General Election
Elected Offices that will be on the ballot:
Primary Election will be held August 6, 2024.
Candidates for the following offices will be nominated by each political party which has qualified to participate in the Primary Election.
One Candidate for United States Senate
One Candidate for United State House of Representative, 2nd District
One Candidate for State Senate, 20th District
One Candidate for State Representative, 51st District
One Candidate for Member, State Board of Education, 6th District
One Candidate for County Commissioner 2nd District
One Candidate for County Commissioner 3rd District
One Candidate for County Clerk
One Candidate for County Treasurer
One Candidate for County Register of Deeds
One Candidate for County Attorney
One Candidate for County Sheriff
One Candidate for Township Treasurer in each Township
One Candidate for Township Trustee in each Township

One Precinct Committeeman in each Precinct.

- Declaration of Intention - All Candidates
- Affidavit of Exemption - All Candidates
- Statement of Substantial Interests - All Candidates
- Appointment of Treasurer
- Nomination Petition - If Filing by Petition (print front and back)
Filing Fee
- County Officers = (1% Salary or Petition) + $50.00 State Fee
- City Offices = $20.00
- Township Office = $1.00
- Committee Person = $0
